McGee anxious to arrive

There is a good possibility that incoming freshman Bruin running back Jeremy McGee (5-10, 180, 4.4) from New Orleans Karr, could be the fastest UCLA football player the moment he steps on campus. McGee's road to Westwood hasn't been an easy one.


Who can forget the horrific footage of post Katrina New Orleans?


That McGee's attitude is so up gives you an indication of the inner workings of a winner.


McGee and his family had to evacuate after New Orleans was hit by Hurricane Katrina so he played his senior season at Baton Rouge, La., McKinley. McGee and his family were able to return home in time for him to run track for Karr and are they ever glad that he did.
