Cats in pursuit of Georgia teammates

Kentucky is just one of many teams chasing Jackson, Ga., defensive end Neland Ball.


UK has some stiff competition, but one positive for the Wildcats is Ball's desire to play in college with his high school teammate, John Keye.


"We talk about it a lot," Ball said. "Recently, as a matter of fact."


How is that an advantage for Kentucky? To start, UK is the only team to offer both players at this time, and the two are interested enough to plan a joint visit to Lexington.


"We're going to try to take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this summer sometime," said Ball. "I don't know if we're going to camp there or not but we're going to definitely take a visit."
