Top Florida DT receiving interest from Texas

The Longhorns haven't recruited the state of Florida that heavily during Mack Brown's tenure, but that is changing this year with the Texas staff considering several prospects to help fill out their 2007 class.

Ocala (Fl.) Trinity Catholic quarterback John Brantley has already given Texas a commitment, and it looks like you can officially add another name to the list of possibilities for the Horns.

The Longhorns are in need of another playmaking defensive tackle, and Longwood (FL) Lyman standout Ian Williams is on the Texas radar.

The 6-foot-1, 305-pound Williams holds offers from schools such as Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina and Tennessee.
