Commitment Analysis: Kendrell McFadden




West Virginia picked up a major 2015 commitment Friday night when Miramar (Fla.) defensive back Kendrell McFadden selected the Mountaineers over offers from many major programs. WVSports.com breaks down the commitment of the Rivals250 athlete and what it means for the class moving forward.

McFadden, 6-foot-3, 178-pounds, selected West Virginia over a number of other offers including Florida, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M, among others. He is currently ranked as the nation's No. 236 best prospect and the No. 12 ranked safety in the entire country.
