Jones enjoys WVU

With ever present trend of high school prospects committing earlier and earlier college coaches are forced to get ahead of the curve on many underclassmen. Like so many other universities, West Virginia is looking to fill the final spots in their class perhaps before the end of the season which means also turning their attention to next year's crop.

One prospect in the 2015 class who has caught the eye of the Mountaineers is Hubbard (Oh.) offensive lineman Matthew Jones. In fact, Jones said that West Virginia had offered him back in May when he was finishing up his sophomore year.

On Saturday, Jones, along with his girlfriend and brother took the two and half hour drive from Hubbard to Morgantown to check out the Mountaineers as they took on Texas Tech in a Big 12 showdown.
