Top recruits expected on campus

On Wednesday Michigan State will host an impressive group of prospects on campus, including half a dozen players who most consider to be the best prospect in the state of Michigan for the class of 2015. Cass Tech quarterback Jayru Campbell is one of the player that will be in East Lansing.

This will be the first major recruiting event the Spartans will have had since hiring new Director of College Advancement/Performance & Camp Director Curtis Blackwell.

Blackwell's strong ties to the Detroit area as well as his camp contacts will certainly help the Spartans get more kids on campus.

Below is a list of recruits expected to be on campus for the first practice in pads on Wednesday.

  • WR Brian Cole of Sagina Heritage High School

  • RB Mike Weber of Detroit Cass Tech High School
