More meaning to A&M game






Texas A&M's move to the SEC left Arkansas scrambling for a new out-of-conference opponent and subsequently changed the annual Southwest Classic in Arlington to a home-and-home series.

The addition of A&M to the conference adds more importance to a rivalry that dates back to 1903 and includes 68 meetings. Arkansas leads the all-time series 41-24-3 with wins in all three non-conference games played the past three seasons at Cowboys Stadium.

Last year's game went down to the wire. The week before, the Hogs suffered a tough, physical loss to eventual national champion Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Arkansas fell apart in the second half. A&M was coming off a second half meltdown against Oklahoma State in a 30-29 loss...
