Wide receivers still in learning process

If there is one area West Virginia Offensive Coordinator and Receivers Coach Shannon Dawson believes his corps can improve on this spring, it is catching the ball.

Through the first six practices this season, Dawson is seeing certain bright spots from his group of receivers; however, an issue with pass catching is causing the coach to worry about the fundamentals.

"In my opinion we haven't been doing great, we've dropped too many balls," Dawson said. "I'll give credit to the defense though, they're real aggressive at corner, making us work for releases and stuff like that, which is good. But if I had to give it a letter grade I'd probably give us a C or C-. We can do better."
