Three standing out for Brodie
PHOENIX - Ryan Brodie has pretty much narrowed his list to three favorites, there are two official visits remaining in late January, and then the three-star offensive tackle from Long Branch, N.J., plans to announce his decision on National Signing Day.
visit to UConn already and I've been to Rutgers a thousand times so I know how both of them give me that same feel."
Brodie, who said no team is the frontrunner at this point, had been talking with coach Al Golden when he was at Temple and those conversations continued when Golden took over at Miami this past season. The Hurricaes are a serious contender because Brodie knows Golden well.
"I was dealing with coach Golden when he was at Temple and he stopped recruiting me and then when he got the job at Miami he talked to me and wanted to offer me a scholarship and he wanted me to get down there," Brodie said. "Tackle right now is a priority for them."
The New Jersey prospect has already visited UConn in November and then will go to Rutgers and Miami the last two weekends of January, respectively, before figuring things out leading up to signing day.
"All three schools I'm looking at I feel I have a very good chance of playing next year," Brodie said.
"I love all the schools, all the programs are great and I love the coaches and it's all about how I feel inside. They all give me the same type of feeling right now."
