No hurry for Pace
One of the popular rumors running around Syracuse is that the Orange are done with defensive prospects. That does not seem to be the case with a couple of Ohio prospects who remain in contact with the Orange weekly.
Alex Pacefrom Cleveland (Oh.)Glenville Academic Campus remains interested in the Orange and the Orange remain interested in him.
"I am still interested in Syracuse," Pace said. "Coach Wheatley and I talk weekly."
Pace is not the only player with a Syracuse offer on the Glenville team. Kevin Kinds and Willie Henry do as well. One of those prospects is still in touch with Syracuse while the other one is no longer.
"Willie is talking with Syracuse still, but Kevin is not."
With the mutual interest in one another still there Pace has yet to set up a visit at this point.
"I have not set up a visit yet. I am still waiting on a few more offers."
Right now with the Orange's football season being kind of up and down Pace is still watching them to see what exactly the end result will be.
"They're still good but I want to see how the season ends."
Even if the season does end on a bad note it might not be a deal breaker for Pace and the Orange because of the great recruiting job done by Tyrone Wheatley.
"I think coach is a great man, off the field we talk about a lot of things like life and stuff like that. Many coaches don't take time out of their day to talk about life with recruits and I like that about him."
