'Sticks'ing out

Ivan McCartney came to West Virginia as a heralded recruit a season ago but by season's end managed only one catch for four yards. After two games, the sophomore wide receiver feels comfortable in the current offensive system and it's translating to the field of play.

McCartney hauled in 4 catches for 79 yards on Saturday, including a 39-yard touchdown catch with 14:10 remaining in the 4th quarter. That performance is coming on the heels of 5 catch for 39 yards and a score against Marshall in the season opener.
