Dantonio seeks better execution, faster start

EAST LANSING - Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio expects to see significant improvement between now and Saturday when his No. 17 ranked Spartans welcome Florida Atlantic to Spartan Stadium.

"When you look at us you are looking for great execution and you are looking for attention to detail next week," said Dantonio, whose team lacked those qualities during a 28-6 victory in the opener against Youngstown State. "We are looking forward to getting out to practice this week. I am sure that everybody would have liked to have seen a 40-6 shot and we would all be happy. But we are where we are at. There are no easy games out there and it just serves as another indicator that wherever you go, everybody does their very best to compete."
