Kicker key heading into camp

With the new air raid offense expected to move the chains and put points up in bunches this fall, one area that will be watched closely in camp is the place kicking position especially after some struggles during the spring. Because so many games are won or lost on the execution of special teams, finding a reliable option to boot the ball through the uprights will be one of the top priorities of the West Virginia coaching staff.

Toping the depth chart is Tyler Bitancurt, a redshirt junior and two-year starter, who struggled last season after a first team all-Big East season during his freshman year. That freshman season, he went 13-15 with a long of 43 yards, most notably included a game-winning kick to beat West Virginia's rival Pittsburgh.
