Denman enjoys Happy Valley
The Penn State coachign staff hosted multiple top recruits for their first junior day of the year Saturday. One of those prospects was Fairless Hills (Pa.) Pennsbury offensive tackle J.J. Denman, who added that his visit to Penn State was good time.
"It was pretty good, we got there, ate a little bit, then went on a tour of the school," said Denman. "We broke up into position groups then and got to see coach Paterno."
Denman visited Notre Dame a few weeks back, adding that it was the first school he saw that he could see himself paying at. So what stands out for Penn State?
"I like the coaching staff and they alumni," said Denman, adding that Penn State's presentations were very informative. "They had a player pannel then as well, but I don't remember the kids name.
With offers from Boston College, Connecticut, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracsue, West Virginia and Wisconsin, Denman won't be making a decision anytime soon. In fact, know school is really standing out at the time.
"Everything is at the same level right now," Denman said. "I don't have any favorites. "
Denman is a Rivals250 watch list member and said that his tentative top five schools are Michigan, Notre Dame, Boston College, Penn State and Wisconsin.
