Several Buffs shine on pro timing day

BOULDER, Colo. - One of the top offensive linemen at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month, Nate Solder did not feel the need to participate in the testing portion of Colorado's pro timing day event on Wednesday. But the athletic offensive tackle ran through some individual drills. Former Colorado linebacker and current Denver Broncos director for college scouting Matt Russell volunteered to line up against Solder. He later regretted that decision. Read on.
