Mississippi State will make its way to Baton Rouge today looking to continue its success on the Bayou against LSU at 3 p.m.
The Bulldogs have won three straight times at Pete Maravich Assembly Center including last season's thrilling 60-59 victory.
MSU has claimed seven of the last 10 meetings against the Tigers and three straight in the series. But it is LSU who has upper hand overall with a 103-95 advantage. The Bulldogs won both games last season including the 67-51 win in Starkville.
The Bulldogs are 11-10 overall and 3-4 in Southeastern Conference play and are looking to rebound after being swept by Alabama. The Crimson Tide completed their second win over State Wednesday 75-61 in Tuscaloosa.
Rick Stansbury's squad comes into today shooting 42.5-percent from the field and averaging 68.9 points. Mississippi State is knocking down 33.3-percent from the outside and making 70.6-percent from the free throw line. The Bulldogs are surrendering 70.5 points to their opponents on 41.9-percent shooting.
