Bruin target set first visit, looking to set more

Moreno Valley (Calif.) standout receiver Junior Pomee (6-3, 210, 4.6) was a known commodity in Southern California going back to his sophomore season, but he went national when he blew up the Florida Camp last summer where he was unstoppable. At the time, Pomee was rated by as a three-star and that performance saw him earn his fourth star.

"What happened in Florida was the week before my Dad sat me down and said that he was ready to get out California so I looked for where one of the last camps that were available," Pomee said. "The last camps were Florida and SMU.

"I was trying to make a decision what camp to attend and I decided to go to Florida because I have one of my bros over there, Ronald Powell," Pomee said. "I just came out ready to ball with them with the mindset of catching every ball thrown to me and show them what I was all about and that's basically what I did."
