Catch him if you can

BOULDER, Colo. - Travon Patterson made a play in the Buffaloes' season opener that no wide receiver on Colorado's team the previous six seasons would have been able to make. Patterson ran a simple five-yard under route, caught a pass in traffic and then outran Colorado State's secondary to the end zone. It gave the Buffaloes an early lead and made offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau smile. Read on.
