Brown looking in Texas and Louisiana for his future

LaCraig Brown is a player Louisiana Tech recruited pretty heavily out of high school. At one point, it was rumored he had committed to the Bulldogs under former head coach Derek Dooley.

Brown signed with the Univeristy of Arkansas and reported to camp just few short weeks ago. Brown has since left Arkansas and has received his release from the Razorbacks.

He told BleedTechBlue.com today, that he is taking each day at a time right now and trying to make the best decision for him.

He said, "I rushed into my decision to Arkansas. I got up there and it wasn't what I thought it would be and not the place for me. A lot of things started going downhill once I got there." Brown declined to comment on the specifics of what happened to make him transfer.

He plans to sit out this season and wants to get into school 'really bad'. That being said, Brown plans to make his decision by Monday or Tuesday of next week so he can get into school and get started on his academics.

"This is my last chance, I am going to make my decision wisely to somewhere I'll be happy. I have to find that place that is best for LaCraig Brown," he explained.

After sitting out a year, he says he is "working hard to be a be a force next season."

While sitting out this year, he will be working with a trainer in Monroe, La.

Brown mentioned the schools he is looking at are in Louisiana and Texas. Those schools seem to include Louisiana Tech, TCU, LSU, ULL, and Tulane.

Brown was a three-star proscpect in 2010 and the number 36 player in the state of Louisiana.
