Brehaut looks sharp

The second day of practice may have been Richard Brehaut's best practice as a Bruin. He was throwing on time, hitting receivers in stride and was making good decisions. If Brehaut continues to improve as he has been since the summer's 7-on-7 sessions then the Bruins will truly have a quality backup to Kevin Prince.

If Brehaut starts to practice this way on a consistent basis then he will push Prince to get better and when a team starts to get competitive situations at all positions then you will truly see a program on the move.

Simply put, Brehaut looked like the guy the Bruins hoped recruited two years ago. had the opportunity to get a few moments with the Bruin quarterback after yesterday's practice. Outstanding second day Richard. You were finding the open spots on the defense and hitting guys on the numbers. After watching you go through two springs and now two training camps this may have been your best practice…

Brehaut: "Thank you, yeah I felt real good out here. I felt like everyone was doing their job on the offense. The receivers were running great routes and the line was giving great time and the backs were having great runs so that kind of opens up the passing game when we do decide to sit back there and pass the ball. So yeah, I felt like I had a good day."
