Fisher gets another look at Iowa
Omaha linebacker Cole Fisher has had an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes since last November and has been on campus a couple of times since then. On Monday, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Fisher made another visit to Iowa City to get an even closer look at things and get to know the Iowa coaching staff and players a little better. The three-star linebacker takes us through his day at the University of Iowa.
"Well, we arrived there around 10 AM and started off in the weight room watching the players work with Coach Doyle and got to talk to him," said Fisher. "After that, we went out to lunch with Coach Morgan and one of the players, Jeff Tarpinian, who went to the same high that I do. He's always been good friends with our family, so it was kind of cool to catch up with him a little bit."
"Then, I actually got to check out the academic side of things at Iowa a little more today," he continued. "I visited the engineering school, which is what I'm interested in for my major, so that was pretty cool. They have a lot to offer, I think, on that side of things. After that, we went back and talked to some of the players and Coach Ferentz and then headed home."
