Hall has a pair of leaders from Mississippi
Cottondale, Ala., quarterback Broderick Hall admits that he does not want to venture far from home for college.
But the 6-foot-3, 175-pound standout from Paul W. Bryant High School does appear interested in heading out of state naming two Mississippi schools - Mississippi State and Southern Miss - as his early favorites.
"Mississippi State is still my highest right now," Hall said. "I want to go down there but I'm debating between them and Southern (Miss). I ain't trying to go too far so that's why Mississippi State and Southern Miss are my main two right now."
Hall has made several visits across the state line to Mississippi State, most recently for junior day. He spoke with Bulldog assistant coach Mark Hudspeth on Saturday and likes what MSU has to offer.
"They've got a good program," Hall said. "They've got a good coach down there so they are going to be good in a couple of years. I think that I can fit into their offense."
Hall is also close friends with 2010 State signee and Tuscaloosa native Malcolm Johnson as well. Hall stated that Johnson has told him good things about the Bulldogs future.
