Process overwhelming for Clemons
Some prospects love the spotlight, while others come to embrace it over a period of time.
Milford (Pa.) Delaware Valley offensive guard Brandon Clemons would prefer to go about his own business, however, and admits the entire recruiting process is already a little overwhelming.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound prospect has received written offers from UConn, Pitt and West Virginia, and verbal offers from Temple and Rutgers.
"I haven't been able to do to much because of my basketball season," Clemons said. "It's been pretty hectic."
Delaware Valley's season on the basketball court has been a disappointment, to say the least. The team is sitting at just 6-12, but that doesn't measure how competitive they have been, as most games finished within just a couple of points.
"I'm going to visit all of the schools that have offered me," Clemons continued. "I'm not sure where else I'll go. The whole recruiting process has been kind of overwhelming. I'd say I'm pretty familiar with the schools that have offered, though.
"The only schools I haven't been to are West Virginia and UConn, though. I've been to Temple, Rutgers, Penn State and Pittsburgh. I liked all of them."
Clemons said his biggest factor in choosing a school will be finding a place where he feels like home. Most schools have told him they would like to try to move him to defensive end, though he is unsure where Pitt stands on that.
