Donnal wraps up senior season
Moving up to Ohio's Division I this season, many were not sure what to expect from Anthony Wayne High School led by four-star offensive lineman Andrew Donnal. While the Generals came up just short of making the playoffs, finishing with a 7-3 record, it was still a very good year for the 6-foot-7, 285-pound future Hawkeye and teammates.
On the field, Donnal was dominant on both sides of the ball this year, lining up at offensive tackle and playing some defensive line as well. The Iowa commit credits the hard work he put in during the off-season for making him a better player in 2009.
While his own season has kept him pretty busy up until now, Donnal has also been able to follow the Hawkeyes this year as they continue to remain undefeated. Watching his future teammates start the season 9-0 has made the Ohio native even more excited about his college decision.
