Burnette is ready to go in 2008
There is no time off anymore in high school football. It has become a year around grind, but Georgia commitment Chris Burnette is not complaining. He has taken advantage of the summer workouts and he is ready to get things started in 2008.
It was close to 100 degrees on this day in Lagrange (Ga.), but that did not slow down Burnette. The 6-foot-3, 285 pound mobile lineman got after it.
He has put in the time required by Coach Bubba Jeter plus more this off-season and it has paid off. Burnette is stronger, he is in the best shape of his high school career, and he is ready to put the Tigers on his shoulders this fall.
Watch the future Dawg get after it here.
