Commings visits his future home

One of the five official visitors at Georgia this weekend was safety Sanders Commings. Commings had been to Athens many times before, so he used this trip to meet some players, spend time with the coaches and get a better feel for his future home.

"I had a great visit, everything was nice and I had a lot of fun," said Commings. "I met a lot of the players, I hung out with the commitments, I got to see Coach [Mark] Richt's house and it was real cool."

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound athlete out of Augusta (Ga.) - Westside has visited Athens a lot over the years, so he had seen much of what the Dawgs had to offer, but a couple of things did stand out to him during this trip.

"I met a lot of the players like Prince Miller, Donavan Baldwin, Caleb King, Aron White and my host C.J. Byrd. All of them were real cool guys and they made me feel at home. That really stood out."

"Downtown Athens also stood out to me. I hung out down there with some of the players and it is real live and a lot of fun on the weekends. A lot of people were out there and it was cool."
