UGASports TV: King talks UGA commitment

The University of Georgia had lost two of their verbal commitments in recent weeks, but they got some very good news on Friday when Tavarres King chose Georgia over Clemson and Florida. UGASports.com was at the King press conference to and we caught up with King for this exclusive interview after his big decision.

It came down to four schools, but Georgia won out in the end and the Dawgs will keep in-state the play-making in-state receiver home. Four schools were still in contention, but it really came down to a two team race for King.

His father Anthony King attended Clemson University and the home-state University of Georgia were the two major players in King's recruiting process.

Both schools recruited him hard, came after him with all they had, and showed him what they had to offer, Georgia is the school that took an early lead for King and the Dawgs never looked back.

Friday May 18 is a day King will remember for a long time as he made a lot of Dawg fans happy around 4:30pm EST and just minutes after he made his announcement he sat down with UGASports.com for this exclusive interview.

King talks about why he chose Georgia, how tough of a decision it was, how solid he is to the Dawgs now and much more inside this interview on UGASports TV.
