Three Dawgs dismissed

One day after signing 19 players to national letters of intent, it appears Georgia has two more spots to fill for next year.

Sources on condition of anonymity tell UGASports that wide receiver Sanford Seay and cornerback Nick Marshall have both been dismissed from the team.

It was not confirmed what the reason(s) were for.

A freshman from Lee County, Seay redshirted with the Bulldogs last fall while Marshall played in all 14 games, mostly on special teams, where he made four tackles during the regular season.

Head coach Mark Richt could not immediately be reached for comment.

Seay was expected to battle for playing time in a backup role for the Bulldogs, while Marshall was to compete for time in the secondary.
