Six-pack with Inside the Gators' Kyle Maistri

Vanderbilt goes to Gainesville to meet a struggling Florida team that's lost four games in a row. For more on the state of the Gators coming into Saturday's game, VandySports.com's Chris Lee asked InsideTheGators.com's Kyle Maistri six key questions about UF heading into Saturday's game.


1. "The Gators threw the college football world a bit of a curveball by hiring Will Muschamp after Urban Meyer left. What was it that UF officials thought made Muschamp the best candidate for the job, and how does his way of running a football program differ from Meyer's?"

"I think athletic director Jeremy Foley saw a little bit of a young Urban Meyer in Muschamp. Muschamp is an extremely fiery guy who puts all of his energy into coaching and is willing to do whatever it takes to have success as a football coach. Muschamp is obviously a defensive guy whereas Meyer was an offense/special teams coach, so that's the most obvious different.
