2004 (Junior): Contact work limited in spring following rehab....expected to be full speed by pre-season practice....recipient of William K. and Jane H. Holmes Endowed Football Scholarship...completed 26-of-57 passes for 464 yards and four touchdowns in nine games during the regular season...also rushed for 87 yards as the Bulldogs' change-of-pace quarterback...saw his most extensive playing time against Georgia Tech, completing 5-of-16 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown as David Greene was sidelined with a thumb injury....2004 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

2003 (Sophomore): Solid spring.....completed five of seven passes in annual spring G-day game....listed as number two QB at conclusion of spring drills....played in six games before knee injury sidelined him for remainder of the season.

2002 (Freshman): Solid spring competing for playing time at QB....completed four of 17 passes for 90 yards in annual spring G-Day game....listed as number two QB at conclusion of spring drills....recipient of William K. and Jane H. Holmes Endowed Football Scholarship....has played in nine games missing four with a foot injury suffered vs. S.C.....ran for one TD and passed for a second in debut vs. Clemson in season opener....best games vs. Kentucky (6 x 38 rushing, 10/14 passing for 102 yards and two TD's) and vs. Georgia Tech (6x20 yards rushing and 1 TD, 5x8 passing for 86 yards).....threw 37-yard TD pass in Nokia Sugar Bowl win over FSU.

Scouting Reports

Pros: An intriguing prospect, but one with limited playing time in college who will be developmental at any position in the NFL. He has the overall athleticism to play other positions, and running back or slot receiver is where he will contribute earliest as a pro while developing as a passer.
Cons: Constant positional changes and injuries have hindered his development and he needs time and the right situation to settle into an offense. He needs work on all areas of basic QB play, including his setup, footwork, throwing mechanics and ability to read defenses.
Numbers: At the Combine, he ran a fine 4.57 time with a 37.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, one-inch broad jump. As a senior, he started 12 games and had 310 passing attempts with 173 completions for 2588 yards, 24 TDs and 5 interceptions. He carried 78 times for 427 yards and 5 TDs.
