Kentucky warmed up for its rivalry meeting with Louisville on Saturday by flying past some Cardinals of a different feather.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 18 points Wednesday night to lead the Wildcats to an 86-64 win against Lamar.

Darius Miller (15 points), Marquis Teague (15), Doron Lamb (12) and Anthony Davis (10) also scored in double figures for No. 3 UK (12-1), which faces Louisville Saturday at Rupp Arena.

Mike James led all scorers with 29 points on 13-of-29 shooting for Lamar (8-5).

Terrence Jones returned for UK after missing two games with a dislocated pinky finger on his left hand. Jones didn't start but had nine points and six rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench.
