MacMillan makes first official visit
Three-star offensive lineman Nolan MacMillan made his first official visit this weekend with a trip to the University of Iowa. The 6-foot-6, 284-pound MacMillan, who received a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes in late November, made the visit with teammate Donald Coleman and said the two enjoyed their time in Iowa City.
MacMillan, who is originally from Canada, is currently a prep school student at The Hun in New Jersey. This weekend, his father also made the trip to Iowa, flying in from Toronto to meet his son in the Hawkeye State. During the trip, the two not only had a chance to tour Iowa's football facilities, but learn more about the academics at the university as well.
Since it was his first visit, MacMillan said it is too early to name any favorites, as he will have to see some other schools first. Up next is an official visit to Georgia Tech on December 19 and one to Virginia likely sometime in mid January.
MacMillan holds scholarship offers from Iowa, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Rutgers, Michigan State, Louisville, Connecticut, South Florida, and Tulane, among others.
