Dual sport standout Michael Carr
West Point's Michael Carr has some tough decisions ahead.
The 6-1, 190-pound junior will not only have to decide which school he will take his athletic talents to, but in which sport.
Carr has excelled on the football field as well as on the hardwood and is already drawing attention of college recruiters in both sports.
But there is no doubt which sport is near and dear to Carr's heart.
"I love the game of basketball," Carr said. "I've played basketball ever since I was five. It's my game and it's a game I love. My mom has always wanted me to play basketball. She always watched Michael Jordan and when I was born she asked the Lord to please let me be like Mike. Pretty much that's how I got my name."
While Carr has dreams of the NBA, it may be his talents on the gridiron that take him to the next level. Carr is considered one of the top juniors in the state after playing only two years of organized football.
