Prospect play under the lights
Pitt commit Pat Bostick continues to have an outstanding senior season. Friday night Bostick threw for 212 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead Manheim Township to an easy 49-0 win on the road against Cedar Crest. Bostick threw touchdown passes from 18-yards and 54-yards out. Pat Bostick continues his climb up the charts of the all-time passing leaders in Pennsylvania history. Bostick has now thrown for 6,551 career yards. He now ranks No. 8 on the all-time chart. He should easily move deep into the top five if he stays health. The Manheim Twp. Blue Streaks improved to 6-1 with the win. They host rival J.P. McCaskey (4-2) on Friday night.
J. P. McCaskey was beaten Friday night 40-33 by Penn Manor (5-2) which features Pitt commit Jordan Gibbs (6' 7" 290). Penn Manor will host Manheim Township in early November.
The Southern Columbia Tigers (7-0) kept their express train rolling with an easy 56-8 win over Loyalstock Twp. (4-3). Pitt commit Henry Hynoski rushed for 154 yards on only 10 carries. Hynoski scored on touchdowns runs of 2-yards, 55-yards and 9-yards. No. 1 ranked Southern Columbia is trying to win an unprecedented fifth consecutive Class A state championship. The Tigers will try and feast on the Clarion Area Bobcats (4-3) at home Friday night.
