Arizona has options at tight end
With the way that Brad Wood stepped up last season for the Wildcats, the tight end position has become very important in the Arizona offense.
While Wood made an obvious impact last season, catching 27 passes for 304 yards and a team-leading six touchdowns, it would be difficult for him to repeat the performance this season, due in large part to a knee injury that has held him back since going down last season at ASU.
During fall camp, Arizona's coaches gave Wood limited action, often rotating him in every other practice. While he will continue to get better as the season goes on, at this point in time he's still working not at full strength.
