On the football field, Josh Pinkard doesn't back down from challenges. He's a tough, athletic player with great skill. He's versatile, and he's steady.

Off the field, though, Pinkard prefers to duck the spotlight, electing not to be interviewed. He's just not that comfortable talking about himself.

Still, his teammates know that when it comes to Pinkard, actions truly speak louder than words.

"He's a humble guy," safety Will Harris said. "He's quiet, He's one of those guys who shows his leadership by his action. He never really speaks out, but no one ever has anything against him. He's a leader by example."
