Davis looking forward to Iowa visit
Michigan lineman Carl Davis has been to Iowa City twice before, but never for a Hawkeye home game in Kinnick Stadium. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder will get that chance this weekend as he is making his official visit to watch Iowa host Michigan on Saturday night.
Davis' team, Sterling Heights Stevenson, has a game on Friday night, so he is leaving afterwards and driving to Iowa with his uncle and cousin. It will be his first trip to the Hawkeye state since a weeklong stay in August, but since then the three-star prospect has remained in close contact with the Iowa coaching staff.
This will be Davis' second official visit after touring Wisconsin earlier this season. Along with the Hawkeyes and Badgers, he also holds scholarship offers from Michigan State, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, and several MAC schools. Currently, he plans to take all five official visits before making his college decision.
