How do you like Fort Collins?

I love Fort Collins. When I cam up here on my trip, one of my teammates from high school (Elijah-Blu Smith) showed me around and what things are like up here. I hung out with the coaches and they showed me around the city so I like it a lot.

What's it like having Blu up here?

Oh yea. It's nice having him out here because me and him came from the same city, ya know what I'm saying? So for us playing out here together, he gives me tips about how to do things out here. It's good because I have somebody that came from where I came from here in Fort Collins.

How do you like Coach Fairchild?

He's a good guy. We have a good relationship, as far as me coming here, he really pushed for it. He's a good coach, he's all about being perfect, and he's gonna make us a good team this year and in the years to come.

Favorite play in the playbook?

I like all the plays, the inside zones, the outside zones, that's all we love. Whenever we can get the ball in the end zone, that's my favorite play.

How does the weather here compare to L.A.?

It's been hot out here, surprisingly. It's been kind of hot in L.A., but it's hotter here compared to there. It's hard to get used to, especially the altitude, but I got used to it. My first weeks were rough, it was hard to breathe, but I got it down.

If you had to predict CSU's record this year, what would it be?

I think we're gonna be a pretty good team. The Mountain West is a tough conference, but we have a lot of talent on this team, especially with the players who are already established here. I'll say we'll finish in the top three. We're gonna be good enough to compete with the best in the Mountain West Conference.

Favorite place to eat in Fort Collins?

When I got here I ate at Sonic for the first time. They always show the commercials out in L.A., but don't have any. When I finally saw it, I ate there. It was pretty good, ya know?

But you have In and Out Burger in L.A...

Yea, we have that, but this is something different.

Do you have any game day rituals?

Usually when we get to the stadium and get off the bus I dress and head to the end zone and just sit down and listen to my music and relax. I gotta get my mind right for the game, that's what I usually do.
