Vols Start Hump Day With Morning Work

VolQuest.com Tennessee hit the practice field this morning for the first of two Wednesday sessions, going through roughly three-hours of work that wrapped up in the late morning. It's the second 'twice-a-day' session of the week for the Vols, and a tough day for the players to fight through in terms of both mental and physical fatigue.
Positive peer pressure and a coaching staff that makes it a point to keep close tabs on the intensity level have made the grind of this week easier to bear, but certainly no walk in the park.
"It's hump day. It's a real mental challenge, just getting out of bed everyday can be tough. Everybody's hurting at least a little bit, but we're all going through it together," fullback Austin Johnson said of the challenge this week. "I think this team has a great attitude about working, you could just see that today with guys coming off the practice field."
