Another visit to Auburn for Owens
Several dozen high school prospects were in Auburn over the weekend participating in the Tigers' two-day Senior Camp. Other recruits stopped in for a visit.
One of those visitors was LaDarius Owens, the 6-foot-2, 225-pound outside linebacker out of Jess Lanier in Bessemer, Ala.
Owens, who has offers from around the SEC and ACC, has been a frequent visitor to the Plains this spring and summer, most recently attending Big Cat Weekend the last of May. His uncle, James Owens, the first black scholarship football player at Auburn, lives in the Auburn area.
