So far, so good.
Although it's still very early in the process, 11 of Georgia's 20 incoming freshmen signees have already qualified to enroll in school for fall semester.
The names of Branden Smith, Chase Vasser, Chris Burnette, Arthur Lynch, Abry Jones, Rantavious Wooten, Michael Gilliard and Austin Long already appear in the official online UGA telephone directory as of Tuesday morning, indicating that each has already been accepted into school.
They join early enrollees Aaron Murray, Zach Mettenberger and Dallas Lee, who began taking classes in January and completed spring drills with the rest of the team.
"It's great to officially be a Dawg," Gilliard said. "Now, I'm working hard to get on the field and do great things."
Gilliard isn't the only one.
"I'm just so thankful for this blessing, and that all my hard work continues to pay off," Vasser said.
"I'm just ready to come in and compete at DT," said Jones, who told UGASports he's currently 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds.
Georgia will learn the status of its remaining signees in the coming weeks leading up to when the full team reports for summer conditioning drills and volunteer workouts in June.
That lists includes Kwame Geathers, Washaun Ealey, Orson Charles, Derrick Lott, Jordan Love, Montez Robinson, Shawn Williams, Marlon Brown and Brandon Bogotay.
