Today marks the conclusion of David Cutcliffe's first full recruiting period as head coach of the Duke Blue Devils. After arriving in Durham in mid-December last winter, Cutcliffe and his staff were able to identify and persuade numerous prospects to attend Duke late in the process. This time around, they were afforded the opportunity to get in the game from the start.
As a result, the staff proved its recruiting prowess, putting together one of the strongest week long runs of commitments in the nation. At that point, Cutcliffe and company placed themselves on the map, and highly regarded prospects began taking notice.
With several key players gone from the program, Cutcliffe will be looking to replace some valuable departed seniors. Will those replacements come from the 2009 recruiting class?
