Beavs mine local area to land a gem

BeaverBlitz.com Beaver Nation has mined the local area to get a commit from a great local player.
Jordan Poyer (6-foot-1, 180, 4.55 hand timed 40), from Astoria High School, will be wearing the Black and Orange for the next four years.
"Coach Locey offered me a grayshirt scholarship, and I accepted. He told me that there was about 20 scholarship players that are ahead of me, and that I was first on the list to become a regular player in the fall if someone doesn't pass his grades, the clearing house, or any other reason they can't join the team," Jordan told us.
