Joeckel likes seeing opportunities in recruitment

AggieYell.com Like most high school football, Arlington offensive lineman Luke Joeckel has enjoyed a holiday break after the grind of a 10-plus game season that included an extended playoff run which ended in a loss to then No. 1 Euless Trinity. However, Joeckel and his twin brother Matt Joeckel are getting ready for a different type of grind that in some sense has already begun.
The junior expects to hit the recruiting trail for a number of unofficial visits and junior days in the coming months. He's already somewhat familiar with the process as he took a number of unofficial visits last year and now has six scholarship offers. He received offers from Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Texas A&M during last football season and obtained a new pair of offers virtually as soon as the season ended.
