McAfee solidifies his spot in WVU annals

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN--Having just broken the record for career points scored by a West Virginia University football player, one may have expected Pat McAfee to be in a celebratory mood after the Mountaineers' 17-6 victory over Syracuse. Instead, the banner afternoon was just another notch on the belt for McAfee, who prefers the big picture approach to life. With his 33-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, West Virginia's punter/kicker/quote machine broke former tailback Steve Slaton's briefly held record for scoring at WVU.
