SpartanMag.com EAST LANSING - Spartan commitment Blake Treadwell is as tenacious a two-way lineman as there is in the Class of 2009.
Treadwell's competitive nature on both sides of the football helped fuel a hungry East Lansing football team against rival Grand Ledge last Friday. East Lansing was a heavy underdog to visiting Grand Ledge who entered the rivalry clash undefeated and ranked No. 9 in Class A.

The son of Michigan State offensive coordinator Don Treadwell, Blake Treadwell is ranked the No. 2 center in the entire Class of 2009 by Rivals.com. A four-star prospect, Treadwell is ranked the No. 247 overall player in the Class of 2009 regardless of position.
