Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas tight end Gabrison Holmes took his first official visit of the process to Purdue this past weekend. Following the trip, the 6-6, 210-pound prospect talked about the campus, the coaching staff, Purdue's thrilling game against Oregon on Saturday and one experience he did not expect.

Holmes was on campus before, during and after Purdue's 32-26 double overtime loss to Oregon. Being with the Purdue players before and after the game gave him a chance to see what goes on in a college player's mind at those times.
