Jeffrey Demps speed isn't just a problem for opponents on the offensive side of the ball.

It's now even more problematic on special teams.

Demps blocked a punt and the Gators scored a safety for the first time since Oct. 7 2006 against LSU.

"It's better than scoring a touchdown," said Demps, who had a 62-yard scamper into the endzone last week against Hawaii.
