Football comes naturally for Wilson
This past Saturday, Texas A&M played host to some of the top class of 2010 prospects in the state when they held their first junior day. With a small invite-only crowd of 30-35, it was a chance for the coaches and players to become more familiar with one another.
One of the attendees already held a verbal offer from the Aggies but wanted to learn a little bit more about the school. Haltom defensive end Reggie Wilson made the drive to College Station from his Fort Worth-area home to take part in the day's events.
"I went down there to the junior day yesterday," the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Wilson said on Sunday evening. "I talked to the coaches about recruiting and everything. They had already offered me a full ride to play there. Right now, all I have to do is keep my grades up and keep focused.
"They took us around on a tour. They showed me the locker room, the stadium, the indoor facility and stuff like that. We also talked about A&M's history and things like that."
