Jackson took time to make the right decision
On Tuesday morning, Texas A&M received a somewhat unexpected commitment from Navasota wide receiver Brandal Jackson. The three-star prospect had recently made the 25-minute drive to the College Station campus but left with the idea that he would visit Southern Miss as well before making a final decision.
That did not happen, though. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver took a few days and then decided to end the recruiting process for good. It was a decision that Jackson did not take lightly.
"Really, my parents and I just talked it over for a while," he said. "I knew I wanted to go to A&M so we decided that there was no reason to wait, that I should just go ahead and commit.
